Ms. Rendek has experience working through a wide array of genres and instrumentation. For 8 years, Ms. Rendek has worked beside a number of choirs and ensembles, including serving as harpsichordist for the University of Memphis’s Collegium Musicum and providing piano for local ballet classes. An in demand collaborator, Angelica has served as a collaborative pianist for a number of regional conferences including NATs and the South Central Regional Tuba Euphonium Conference. In 2022, she was featured internationally to perform chamber music, in Valdeblore, France at the Zodiac Music Festival.
As well as working with a variety of instruments and voice types, Angelica has familiarity with four handed repertoire. Ms. Rendek currently collaborates with pianist Lucas Smith to create improvisated based arrangments of hymns to premeir in concert. In 2018 she and partner Elizabeth Jackson placed 2nd in the OhioMTA/Graves Piano Solo and Ensemble Contest.
Angelica’s most recent project is the formation of an ensemble with saxophonist Tom Cognetti. In addition to exploring standard and new reportoire for the instrumentation, the duo is working to arrange and transcribe works.
